What drives Donald?
Donald seeks to be the best tutor you can find. He has had an enhanced DBS check updated annually ever since he started and is constantly investing in his growth as a full-time private tutor. Donald studied the Mathematical Tripos at Cambridge University (Clare College). It is widely regarded as the hardest Undergraduate Maths Degree in the world. Donald loved it and relished the challenge. He sought a different challenge immediately after by completing a Masters’ in Cello Performance at Guildhall in London. He has been a full time private tutor ever since and has 12 years of successful experience. What links all of the above is a love of learning. Reading about economics, rewilding and mycology whilst studying chess have all been part of Donald’s learning in the past 12 months. Learning goes on!
Letting off steam
Donald runs and climbs. Running: it’s ultra marathons, marathons for charity and everything through to 5ks. He aims to race at least once per week and helps to co-ordinate a weekly track-night. He mainly climbs indoors, focussing on problem-solving with others. Donald also loves playing music with friends and particularly enjoys performing early music from around Europe on authentic instruments.
